How We Use Your Data

Authentication — to verify your identity when you sign in.
Summarization and audio — transcript text is sent to AI services to produce a written summary and audio. Transcript text is not retained after processing is complete.
Billing — payment identifiers are used to manage your subscription and process renewals and cancellations.
Plan limits — usage data is tracked to enforce the limits of your plan.

We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or any purpose not listed above. We do not sell your personal information.

Data Sharing

We share data only as necessary to operate the service:

Cloud infrastructure provider — hosts our backend, database, and API services.
Payment processor — handles subscription billing.
AI and audio services — receive text data to generate summaries and audio.

All processors are based in the United States and are contractually bound to handle data only for the purposes described above.

Data Retention

Account data (email, name, usage): retained until you request deletion.
Transcript text: not retained after processing is complete.
Payment identifiers: retained for the life of your subscription and as required by law thereafter.
Device identifier: retained for the duration of the free trial period.
Audio and summaries stored in your browser: kept only on your device and never uploaded to our servers.

Your Rights

EEA and UK residents (GDPR/UK GDPR) have the right to access, correct, erase, port, and restrict processing of their personal data, and the right to object to processing.

California residents (CCPA) have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).

Children's Privacy

10xWatch is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact [email protected] if you believe this has occurred.

Google API Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
